Thanks for stopping by. My name is Jiri Nechleba.  I help organizations maximize the impact of more sophisticated analytics and technology. Taking analytics beyond crunching numbers and harnessing it to business operations and, ultimately, results. I do this by helping companies:

 

1) Find technologies that can drive big impact in their organizations;

 

2) Understand change (technology, organizational, skills...) the organization needs to put into place to reap the benefits;

 

3) Helping the organization not just implement technology but align governance and operations to make the needed changes stick and deliver results.

 

I took world-class analytics and optimization technology and turned it into game changing solutions for retailers as CEO at 4R Systems.  4R had revolutionary concepts for inventory management based on approaches rooted in finance theory and risk management originally developed in finance based on the Nobel-prize winning work of Harry Markowitz.  I turned those concepts into a company that delivered 100's of basis points of profit improvement for many retailers.

 

New approaches present adoption challenges but I was lucky enough to work with visionary retailers. People such as Gordon Segal at Crate & Barrel, Tony Truesdale and Mike Archbold at The Vitamin Shoppe, Charlie Gibson and Bryan Causey at Family Dollar and Alex Dillard and Kent Burnett at Dillard's to name a few.

 

Today, I am helping clients who are interested in putting better science to work not only by implementing technologies but by aligning their strategies, organizations and operations.

I am happy to announce that I have joined Invent Analytics - a leading European retail analytics and optimization company founded by Dr. Gürhan Kök - as a member of their Board of Directors.

 

As part of my consulting practice, I advised a major North American retailer in evaluating, selecting and implementing a new supply chain framework.  In this evaluation, we found Invent's solution brought a combination of improved financial performance, speed to solution and on-going value that was unmatched.  After implementation, I was excited to be asked to join their Board of Directors.
